From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the Lord's Name is to be PRAISED!!
No scriptures are quoted in daily devotionals more than the Psalms. King David and his musicians covered every aspect of God's blessings and faithfulness in this collection of songs. According to Psalm 113:3, David had his devotions every day and all day long. Though the Bible shows us David's many failures, we see that he was restored after each loss. That is what much of his writings enforce. Thousands of years later David's words continue to ring out the testimony of God's greatness and benevolence. We still sing variations of Psalm 113 today. Like David, our daily devotions will have an effect on others around us, beginning in our homes and spreading out to the streets where we live. Pastor John
