Have you ever really thought about the calling of Christ on your life?  When we think about it we too often focus of the work and responsibility the calling brings with it.  We think about the commitment - the part about being a living sacrifice.  We think about what we might have to give up, what we might miss out on in life.  But, consider this:  Most likely you will never be called upon by  a leader of a nation.  No king or queen will acknowledge you.  Yet, you are a special subject in the mind of God.  The King of Kings has summoned you to His side to be His servant.  He has great, out of this world plans for you!  Can you afford to neglect His call?  His call is righteouness.  His call is to service.  His call is to make you more than you could ever imagine becoming on your own!  Pastor John.
