Don't be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and He will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted and courageous. Yes Wait and He will help you.
David shows us in this verse that patience and courage are synonymous. God's Word often instructs us to be patient and see what He will do. We read of miraculous victories in the Old Testament when kings waited on God and He delivered them from ovewhelming odds. As we seek the will of God, we must be patient and courageous. Sometimes we might have to wield the Sword (His Word) like Jesus did in the wilderness. But it takes real courage to give everything to God and wait, with expectation, for Him to do something with it. In those waiting times we can take courage and know that He who is with us is far greater than the enemy who is against us. Pastor John
