1 Corinthians 15:19

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are all men most miserable.  1 Cor 15:19.

The old hymn states, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness;  I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name."  These lyrics are a testimony to the writer.  To only hope in things of this world is fruitless.  To hope in Christ is to have hope beyond our present existence.  God blesses and keeps us in this life as we stand upon His Word.  This is awesome, and I love how God works in my earthly life.  Yet, the blessings here cannot compare to the blessings there.  I thank God daily for the bright future we have with Him in the eternal Heaven.  This world is but our stopping-off place.  We can hope in Christ, for beyond this life we will one day be at home.  Pastor John
