God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Cor 5:21
This is an amazing verse to me. It causes me to think beyond what the words are saying, and take what Jesus did for me very personally. He took my sins which were many, and He took them to my cross, where He died. The guilt, the shame, the trial, the verdict, the execution, all of this, He took. I should have been crucified, but Jesus was instead. This is true for everyone present at Harbor Life Church, (and everyone in the world, for that matter). I love Jesus for what He did for me, and that love brings me to this question: If my sins demanded God's Son, then what does God's righteousness demand of me? Thank God for His amazing grace and the Blood of Jesus - the workings of the greatest love ever. Pastor John
