You, also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for the youth and young adults of our church. They have become the "go-to" people to get things done. They lead us in worship and set an example before others. These young people are what the Apostle Peter called living stones. These living stones are important building blocks of the church. Let us all endeavor to be lively, living stones; otherwise, we become malnourished and die, becoming dead stones - stumbling blocks. We must be nurtured to stay alive. We must feed on the manna of God's Word, find refuge in our fellowship with Christ, join the club of disciples, and keep our eyes fixed on the highway to Heaven. This will lead us to a new life, and, in time, to the city whose builder and maker is God.
