Psalms 68:19

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our Salvation, Selah.

The Lord truly pours His benefits upon us each day.  His greatest benefit to us is Jesus Christ who is ever interceding on our behalf.  We have seen God's benefits at Harbor Life Church for 32 years.  Whenever some doors closed, other doors opened as we have sought to do God's will.  In the 20 years of our pastorate God has been great to Sharon and me by way of the people of our congregation.  My purpose today is to pursue God in a greater way than ever before.  I believe Harbor Life's greatest years still lay ahead.  God never ceases to bless.  Thank you all for your support and service to the Kingdom.  Sharon and I feel blessed in more ways than can be explained to have you as our church family.  I boast of you often.  Let's continue to do greater works until we all arrive in Heaven!  Pastor John.

Psalm 42:1-2

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.  My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:  When shall I come and appear before God?

Like David, are you thirsty for God?  have you ever been so thirsty that you felt faint?  Communicating with God through prayer is like that cool refreshing drink that quenches your thirst, strengthening you.  By way of that communication, God not only quenches our thirst for Him, but He meets our needs and provides greater blessings than just something refreshing to drink.  I pray that you will be faithful in prayer during our 40 Days o Prayer and Fasting in preparation for revival.  God bless you for your participation.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Do not pray for easy lives.  Pray to be stronger men.  Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers.  Pray for power equal to your tasks.  Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle.  Phillip Brooks   Pray without ceasing.

Prayer is the main artery from us to God.  It's our lifeline to Heaven.  If you sever an artery, you will die without quick attention and repair.  This is why we are encouraged to pray without ceasing.  God Bless you!  Pastor John
